Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data Danger Zone Audio collects in connection with our products and services, what we do with that data, and what we do not collect by default.
1. Data We Collect by Default
By default, Danger Zone Audio collects only the limited information needed to operate the website, support purchases, and validate licenses. This may include ordinary web-server logs, support emails you send us, privacy-focused website analytics, and license-validation requests needed to confirm a valid installation.
We do not enable product telemetry, usage analytics, or behavioral reporting by default inside Orbit.
2. Telemetry and Opt-In Data Sharing
If Danger Zone Audio offers product telemetry or diagnostic reporting in the future, it will be disabled by default and will require your explicit opt-in before any telemetry data is sent.
Our intent is that this behavior be externally auditable. Unless you have explicitly enabled telemetry, Orbit should not initiate outbound network requests except those required for license validation.
3. Website Analytics
We use Umami Cloud for privacy-focused website analytics on dangerzoneaudio.com. Our Umami Cloud data region is the European Union.
Umami helps us understand aggregate website traffic, referrers, page views, downloads, and purchase-intent events such as clicking a Buy Now button. It does not use analytics cookies, and we configure it to respect browsers that send the Do Not Track signal.
Website analytics may include the page URL, page title, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, country or region, UTM parameters, and custom event names. IP addresses may be used transiently to derive location metrics, but Umami states that IP addresses are not stored.
We do not use website analytics for behavioral advertising, and we do not sell or share analytics data with third parties beyond Umami as our analytics provider.
4. Payments, Checkout, and Vendors
Payments, checkout, and transaction records may be handled by Paddle and other service providers that help us sell and deliver Orbit. Those providers may collect and process customer information necessary to complete a purchase, comply with law, prevent fraud, and provide customer support.
Their handling of payment and checkout information is governed by their own policies and legal obligations.
Our payment processor and other checkout service providers may set cookies or similar technologies strictly necessary to complete a transaction and prevent fraud. Danger Zone Audio does not set advertising cookies or behavioral tracking cookies on this website.
